when designing my website, i knew i needed a home page that showcased my skills and who i am as a person - the most important first impression i could make. like most great ideas, i found the answer in food.
you can tell a lot about a person by what’s inside their fridge, in a way it’s more accurate than asking someone to describe themselves to you.
so what better way to introduce myself to you (other than the about section) than taking a peek into my fridge?
after all, you are what you eat.
for the contents of the fridge, i chose to keep the number of food to a minimum so that visitors didn’t feel overwhelmed. in the video at the top of the page you can see how i prioritized the organization in the first perspective rather than filling the fridge realistically.
painting over a screenshot from blender allowed me to precisely place the food throughout the fridge, and then create the models with that perspective in mind.
